Search intent is the goal behind a query. In AI search, intent decides the shape of the answer: a definitional query produces an explanation, a comparison query produces a shortlist, a decision query may produce a recommendation.
GEO query sets should be grouped by intent, because an organisation's visibility often differs sharply between informational and commercial questions.
