Template pending legal review. Text in [brackets] will be completed before launch.
What certification means
Certification attests that, at the time of assessment, the holder met the requirements of the stated GEO Standard version. It is not a guarantee of results and is not accreditation by any government, ISO body or AI provider.
Holder obligations
- Represent the certification accurately, including its name, scope and dates.
- Comply with the code of conduct.
- Notify us of material changes (for agencies: ownership, name, loss of certified staff).
- Cooperate with renewal and any surveillance sampling.
Validity and renewal
Certificates are valid for the period stated on them. Renewal requires reassessment against the current Standard version.
Suspension and revocation
We may suspend or revoke a certificate for breach of these terms or the code of conduct, misrepresentation, or non-payment. The registry shows the status; reasons are not published. Decisions may be appealed (see governance).
Fees
Assessment fees are payable regardless of outcome. See the refund policy.
